Mission

The mission of Western Tidewater Free Clinic is to provide high-quality, non-emergency healthcare to residents of Western Tidewater who cannot otherwise afford it.

What We Do

Western Tidewater Free Clinic (WTFC) serves as a comprehensive health home to our low-income (at or below 300% Federal Poverty Level), uninsured, underinsured and underserved patients who have no other place to turn for medical, dental, vision and specialty care, women's and mental health services, one-on-one patient education, and critical medications and medication counseling. There is not another full-time free safety net clinic in the 2,200 square miles that we serve (Suffolk, Franklin, and the counties of Isle of Wight, Southampton, Surry, and Sussex) .
