Ashley Greene was born and raised in Suffolk, moved out of the area for a few years, and is now raising her family of four children, two girls and two boys, in Suffolk with her husband of twenty-four years, Andy Greene. Ashley is a 1987 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1991. Ashley joined the Western Tidewater Free Clinic as the Director of Development more than six years ago, where she has been able to mesh her passion for helping others with the opportunity to increase awareness about the Clinic, fundraise to increase the services the Clinic provides to the residents of Western Tidewater, and build and strengthen Clinic partnerships in the community.

Ashley is an active Rotarian in the Suffolk Rotary Club, an Association of Fundraising Professionals Hampton Roads Chapter member, and was a Planning Committee member of the Virginia Dental Association Foundation's Suffolk Mission of Mercy (MOM) Dental Clinics. Ashley has presented strategic planning and human resource workshops in Vermont and Louisiana and provided positive customer experience and teambuilding staff training for local businesses as a consultant. Ashley was a 2007 Inside Business "Top Forty Under 40" Honoree, a 2007 Suffolk Leadership Academy graduate, founder of the "SMART Women: Successful, Motivated...And Really Tired" lunch and learn series, and a founding member and past president of the former volunteer and granting non-profit Suffolk 60 Care. Her family is active in community service and has been honored to participate as Roc Solid Foundation volunteers. Ashley is most grateful for the "Funny Farm" where her busy family lives with their dogs, cats, chickens, and a horse, with occasional visits from turkeys, foxes, coyotes, and bobcats.
