Mission
We exist to uplift Latino families in East Palo Alto and the mid-peninsula through community education, leadership development, and advocacy.What We Do
Community-Based programming, including community workshops on immediate needs and issues of the day, and outreach services to provide information and referrals connecting community members to County and nonprofit service partners.Training programs that support more intensive skill and leadership development, emphasizing popular-education learning styles and with a focus on equipping community members to serve as agents of change in their families and communities:
-Parent development trainings
-Promotora training and development
-English as a Second Language
Advocacy on behalf of Latino families and other communities of color around issues such as equitable education policy county planning, and regulations affecting economic opportunity and quality of life.
