What we need
  • Review of up to 15 pages of proposal copy for grammar, style, and thoroughness
  • Advice on how to make future proposal(s) most effective going forward

We are in need of Grant Writers who will help us write grant proposal or review grant proposal to foundations and donors

What we have in place
  • We currently have case statement, program description, some writing proposals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have We also have pitchdeck, a team member who willing to help, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,847 , allowing us to start testing the effectiveness of different donor letters and begin our fundraising campaigns to individuals

This project will help us secure donations while waiting for grants to come through, and makes our non-profit more sustainable in the long run.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials & Project Timeline
  • Volunteer Manager shares copy to be revised with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides additional/background content on the copy including copy of application, style guide, and/or examples of published copy to ensure style consistency
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager align expectations and agree on project timeline
  • Note: If necessary, Volunteer Manager may have Volunteer sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to sharing and discussing Organization’s proposal

Milestone 1: Copyediting
  • Professional reviews the copy and creates appropriate changes to formatting, grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, etc. using track changes
  • Professional checks for inconsistencies and continuity errors
  • Professional creates a list of recommended changes to share with Volunteer Manager (if applicable)

Milestone 2: Review Edits
  • Professional shares a revised draft and a document tracking the changes with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the changes made to the copy (up to two rounds of edits)
  • Professional makes agreed upon changes to the document and reviews final draft

  • Professional delivers final version to Volunteer Manager

curaJOY is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides a one-stop solution for families to raise socially and emotionally thriving kids through evidence-based digital solutions that promote personal growth, continued practice, and authentic social connections in real life. In this way, we aim to enhance the entire family's emotional wellness and develop the next generation of successful adults and community leaders who will lead the way in developing a socially responsible, diverse, and productive world. curaJOY's Quest Depot app improves families' emotional wellness with an omnichannel conversational learning app that integrates Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, real-life projects, rewards, and gamification. Participants interact with in-game embodied agents who deliver personalized content sourced from the collective wisdom of psychologists, educators, business leaders, and youth worldwide, based on their age, communication style, performance history, and mood.
