What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-discimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
What we have in place
  • We currently have Job Titles, work schedules, conflict of interest policy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have mission statement, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to engage and build leadership of 100 Youth!

CURYJ is a new organization (2+ years in existence) that is in the process of developing our Human Resources. We need to develop a handbook that defines our overall policies including expectations of employees (be on time, conduct, meet deadlines, etc.) as well as vacation time, sick pay, terms of employment, employee contracts/ compensation and benefits, discrimination policies, annual holidays, etc.

Our mission

The mission of CURYJ (pronounced Courage) is to interrupt the cycles of violence and poverty by motivating and empowering young people that have been impacted directly and indirectly by the criminal justice system to make positive changes in their lives and prepare them to become the community leaders of today.

What we do

Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice (CURYJ) will create a place for youth and their families to come together, heal from past experiences, dream and achieve their visions for the future through nonviolence and restorative justice training, leadership development, community organizing, legal and policy advocacy, social action research, education, cultural awareness, and health and wellness.
