Project details

What we need
  • A 1-2 page written document that summarizes the Organization’s needs and goals for effective remote/hybrid work
  • Best practices and tips for the Organization’s remote staff members, including recommendations on the best virtual collaboration tools, such as Slack, Google apps, Zoom, etc.
  • Recommendations for managing projects with remote/hybrid staff, including how to set up a digital workspace for easy collaboration, and how to establish communication styles and structures that support effective teamwork
Additional details

I would like to talk with someone about creating a strategy and policies around continuing remote work once we are able to return to the office and remote meetings. We have been entirely remote for over a year, but hope to be back in the office by fall and need to create some sort of strategy around balancing working from home and on-site.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all staff working from home in three different markets.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,776 , allowing us to provide scholarships for summer camp.

This project will help us safely return to work, but will also increase employee happiness by modifying our current work from home policy.

Our mission

At Girls in the Game every girl finds her voice, discovers her strength and leads with confidence through fun and active sports, health and leadership programs.

What we do

Girls in the Game is a nonprofit organization that exists to empower all girls to be gamechangers. Serving girls ages 7-18, our mission is to help every girl find her voice, discover her strength, and lead with confidence through fun and active sports, health, and leadership programs. We are based in Chicago, but also host program sites in Baltimore and North Texas. Our programs span from After School for elementary and middle school girls, to Summer Camp, Teen Programs, and City Wide Initiatives that bring girls of all ages and background together for fun and active days of play. Since our inception in 1995, we have served over 50,000 girls! For more information about who we are and what we do, visit our website: www.girlsinthegame.org.
