1. I have been told that the platform is antiquated and we may be better served changing for present and future improvements.
2. I have some celebrity testimonials that I would consider adding to give more street cred.
3. Need to edit some outdated information.
What we have in place
- I have heard some comments re that it could use a new look and/or design. I should add that the website presently serves as an on-line brochure / business card. There are no present plans to fund raise immediately on the website. However, we may wish to hook and engage in some fashion, not just sure for what, any suggestions?
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to adjust our film development budget for a better use of funds.
Our priority focus is to raise funds for a Film Documentary about the realities of becoming a living organ donor. (As we are seeking Sponsors at a minimum of $25,000, I don't believe that can be taken seriously in responding to a website). I have a two page deck sheet that I would like to either have linked to the website or edited/copied as a tab. It describes the documentary project in much greater detail.

The GOLD's vision is to establish a culture in America that makes donating a kidney an automatic response.
What we do
With over 100,000 Living Donor transplants, the procedure of living donation has proven to be a safe and appropriate medical science.
It's very important to note that unlike many possible cures for major illnesses, organ donation is the only missing link to immediately curing thousands of ESRD patients. We already have the technology, know-how, transplant facilities, medications and trained doctors. WHEN A DONOR IS AVAILABLE, THE CURE IS REAL. WE NEED MORE DONORS!
The GOLD will assemble a mix of promotion, communications and advertising experts into a Media Advisory Council. This Council will be charged with developing a targeted communications strategy for implementation.
The GOLD will then produce and air messages in all relevant media to reinforce the option of living donation as a positive, pro-active decision when faced with a loved one in need.
