Video Editing
Video Editing
Project details
What we need
- An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details
Each week, we are running virtual programming for students (e.g. career speakers, job shadows, etc.). Many students attend live. We also record them so that students can access anytime, anywhere. This requires some editing to trim the intros, cut out extended lag time, etc. We need some support to help with this to expedite our library for our students. We record on zoom and use dropbox. It would be great to have someone who can help with 1-2 videos every week or so for the next few months.
What we have in place
- We already have a library of edited videos to date, so we could easily go over what is needed. As we complete an event, we can share the download via dropbox for easy editing/access. This is a great project for a couple of hours a week or every couple of weeks between now and the summer. Flexible with time zones, etc.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to serve more students!
K-12 students are dealing with distance learning. We have a lot of great programming related to financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. By helping to edit these videos, you are making relevant contact available to students sooner.
Project plan
Our mission
To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
What we do
Junior Achievement (JA) inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. Through nationally developed core curriculum focused on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, JA of NorCal positively impacts the lives of youth by connecting students, community, and business together in a hands-on learning environment. JA's volunteer-based delivery model, merged with the latest technology, creates a blended learning environment that provides students a relevant, responsive, and innovative portfolio of learning. This experiential approach creates for students a strong connection between school and work; they learn that future success is directly tied to school success.
Since 1950, JA NorCal has utilized corporate and community volunteer-led programming to educate thousands of K-12th grade students on the latest 21st Century skills. In the past year 98,488 Northern California students participated in JA experiential learning programs. In 2015-2016 JA of NorCal will utilize and support 4,074 volunteers to teach JA program curriculum to 101,850 students across 23 Northern California counties.
