What we need
  • Up to 3 customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
Additional details

We need 5 digital brochures on food waste reduction to distribute to both the community and local schools.
The digital brochures will have to be bilingual. if you're fluent in Spanish I think we can post the completed project for translation.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a person dedicated to do the research needed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have both logos ready, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to use it to continue our program donating food to our community from our farm.

Educating our community on the value of waste reduction results in the change of behavior needed to reduce food waste entering the waste stream. Environmental and economic benefits at the household, institution, business, and community level will be gained through this project.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphics and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)

Our mission

Sanzuma is dedicated to increasing the availability of freshly grown foods through gardening and urban farming, improving health and reconnecting people with their environment.

We believe a person's health and diet should not be a reflection of their economic status. Through the lens of comprehensive, healthy food systems, we support low-income communities from Mexico & Central America to Marin County, California.

What we do

We help improve the overall wellness at low income schools through a series of programs.
developing a school farm, helping the food service directors improve the school meal programs, negotiating contracts with local farmers, policy work that has to do with improving the local food system, implementing nutrition education into the curricula, increasing Physical Education minutes, and more.
