Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

We are submitting a grant proposal for a sustainable, equitable, and resilient circular food economy project to connect Arctic cities and cities in Michigan for a peer-to-peer learning change. Our project will provide study tours, trainings, and planning for city food systems that lower our impact on the planet and are less vulnerable to climate change. We need your help to create 5 simple graphic images to describe our proposed work visually (unfortunately this is a two week turnaround!)

What we have in place
  • We currently have an example of what these could look like from a past grant, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have all of the information you need at the read & staff to help, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,518 , allowing us to create a study tour for neighborhood champions to learn about climate change solutions

We believe the power of bringing people together for a more sustainable, just, and healthy world. Creating these visuals will help us connect local leaders to share climate change solutions, create a space for collaboration, and implement a project of a circular food economy that makes a difference.

Our mission

TAI envisions a world in which the Arctic’s diverse and complex sources of insecurity are identified, understood, and innovatively resolved. We hope to achieve this by informing Arctic policy across the circumpolar region through objective, multidisciplinary, and innovative social science research. We do this through publishing high-quality, open access research on a range of issues relating to security in the High North; providing innovative policy analysis and recommendations to policymakers a

What we do

The Arctic Institute is an independent international institute dedicated to research of and engagement in the many dimensions of Arctic insecurity. Established in 2011, TAI provides data, analysis, and recommendations to policymakers, researchers, media, and the interested public. Based in Washington, DC, TAI’s network of research associates extends across North America, Scandinavia, and the European Union.

Testimonials

Noreen is an incredible graphic designer and I could not recommend her highly enough. She diligently listened to our needs and vision, and contributed her own design insights and expertise to produce a series of graphics on the circular food economy in a grant application and that we will use on our website. Not only that, she produced these in record time and we were able to include six graphics on a grant application in two weeks! We are 100% satisfied with her work and strongly recommend using Noreen to bring your organization's vision to life.

Infographic Project

I absolutely loved working with The Arctic Institute! Dr. Herrmann was very clear and organized, and made my job extremely easy. I was able to complete 6 graphics within the span of about a week and a half. She was always available if I had any questions, which also made the whole process efficient in communication. I would highly recommend working with The Arctic Institute if you have the opportunity. I hope to work with this organization again as well!
