Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
Additional details

Neighborhood Legal Service' Guide to Help Brochure needs translated from English to Spanish. The brochure is an 8-panel pocket brochure with approximately 1000 words of copy.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all copy finalized and in electronic formats (MS Word & PDF), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time to provide specific guidance, answer questions,, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to reach an underserved community informing them about civil legal aid resources available.

Immigrants in the Pittsburgh region offera wealth of diversity in terms of language, culture, and talent that helps our region become vibrant. Yet, for those who are struggling economically and/or who are living with family violence, access to a lawyer can mean the difference between life and death, housing and homelessness. It is important for NLS to offer bilingual services and access to legal care for non-English speaking clients.

Our mission

NLS strives to meet the civil legal needs of the poor and vulnerable through effective legal representation and education. Our support takes many forms. We educate, we give advice, and we provide representation in court. Our clients all experience a legal in crisis, with their basic needs for safety and security being threatened by domestic violence, eviction and/or unscrupulous creditors. In every case, legal aid advocates quickly address the client's issues and provide compassionate effective intervention. Civil legal aid provided by NLS helps ensure fairness for all in the justice system, regardless of how much money you have.
