What we'd like to talk about

I'd like strategic advice on creating a crisis communication (both media and stakeholders) plan should the worst happen and I need it

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

We need new solutions to the challenges in our lives and our world. COMPAS uses the arts to unleash the creativity within all of us, so we can create better lives and better communities.

Our manifesto and history is posted here: http://www.compas.org/mission/

What we do

Collaborating with COMPAS brings unique, award-winning experiences right into your classroom or community site (older adult residences, youth programs, women's shelters, jails, after school programs, libraries, community events, children's hospitals, programs for people with disabilities, etc.)

COMPAS works with these partners to teach creativity in ways that meet site objectives while helping develop whole, problem-solving, creative minds. Everyone in the room creates no matter what their abilities, giving every student the opportunity to benefit from our artists' attention and expertise.

Our professional Teaching Artists make the arts live and breathe in locations across Minnesota. They represent a wide variety of art forms and cultural backgrounds. Grounded in their art and well at ease with diverse student populations, COMPAS roster artists are fresh role models who inspire and delight. The emphasis is on participatory art-making and each individual finds their voice and expresses their creativity. Within the joy of art creation, community is built among participants.

Testimonials

Gina really knows her stuff! She was incredibly helpful with helping me understand the pieces of a Crisis Communication Plan, what order to tackle the sections in, and what to think about as it's being built and executed.

Communications Phone call

Dawne was prepared for our call and had many preliminary thoughts about creating/structuring her organization's crisis communications plan, including additional resources for when her plan is further developed. She clearly understood the business need for her organization to draft a crisis plan and will start gathering foundational information. Productive call -- I wish them success!
