Dawne Brown White, Executive Director. Dawne brings management savvy to her position and a track record of sound fiscal policy achieved through 20 plus years of director-level experience and time spent serving on major boards. A respected and accomplished leader within the Twin Cities non-profit community, Dawne has a passion for building relationships and growing programs to meet community needs, especially those that strengthen children and families. Since moving to the Twin Cities from Canada she has held positions with the Girl Scouts, the University of Minnesota and the Ronald McDonald House before starting her own non-profit to increase dental access for underserved youth. She has been the ED @ COMPAS for 6,5 years and appreciates the magic that teaching artists make by creating opportunities for participatory art-making. Dawne has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. and graduate level work in Human Resource Development.
