- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
Additional details
We are also looking for animated cinemagraphs or gifs as the attention-getter at the top of our home page.
What we have in place
- We currently have a contract and dialogue going with a web developer, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the start of some page mock-ups and an expanding list of target imagery, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to set monies aside to launch our quickly developing capital campaign.
Aloha mai,
We are needing high-quality imagery for our website in order to better tell our story of education and environmental restoration. These are images that capture nature and people at their best, conveying emotions, and inspiring folks to participate in programming or make a donation in support of our work. We are about to launch a capital campaign, so this website upgrade is essential right now. We are about to take our organization to the next level, please kokua (help).
Mahalo Nui!
Project plan
Our mission
To cultivate aina (ancestral land) and kanaka (people) to nurture learning, relationships, and lifestyles that enable all Hawaii to thrive.
What we do
We are a hui ho`omahuahua Hawai`i (an organization that enables Hawai`i to thirve). We function as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under U.S. federal law, an education partner to the schools with which we collaborate, a cultural center to those who need space and materials for cultural practice, a social enterprise to our investors, a steward to our `aina, and fertile ground to those who want to grow things.
Our operational center is located in the ahupua`a of He`eia, moku of Ko`olaupoko, Windward O`ahu. Situated at the mouth of Ha`iku Valley, our programs span several parcels, an area of just over 75 acres, the core of which is the `ili of Waipao.
