What we have in place
- We currently have pictures, success stories and a new executive director, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have updated information in all of our programs., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to To have a volunteer that could create a more attrative website. The volunteer will saved FOCUS this cost that is not allocated in the org. budget.
We need a website that will represent the day by day details of our outreach services, the commitment of our staff and Board of Trustees. Visitors who log onto our website are seeing information that is outdated. The website should become our window to the community so that we inform those who have not availed themselves of our services, while re-affirming to those who have visited our headquarters to aide us in disseminating our mission and successes so that our organization will be in the forefront of the Latino community as a reliable resource.

Our mission
Provide community leadership by developing a variety of health and human development initiatives which advance the community toward self-sufficiency, growth, empowerment, and a better quality of life.
What we do
FOCUS Hispanic Center for Community Development, Inc. is a multi-service non-profit (501 (c) 3) community-based organization with a 50-year history of service to the community of Greater Newark and Essex County. FOCUS has historically offered a variety of services to the community, from the very young to the elderly: services to seniors, family support, youth development, emergency assistance, adult protective services. It delivers services to the community through two divisions: Human Services and Youth and Family Development, which reflect the importance given to these areas in order to improve the social, economic and educational needs of people served by the organization.
