What We Need
  • Up to 3 GIFs to be used in further marketing content
  • Note: This project should NOT be used for a fully animated video, or animations longer than 5 seconds

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have Content/stories, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Articles, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,454 , allowing us to provide more menstrual educational workshops and feminine products to middle and high school girls in need.

One of our strategic goals over the next years is to sharpen our branding. We hope that this project will give us the edge to build consistency and increase our outputs and inputs. Furthermore, we hope this will allow us to impact more people and help us shift our resources to reaching out to foundations for support.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares the locations that the animations will be used or the channels that it will be distributed
  • Volunteer Manager shares their vision for what the animations should express
  • Volunteer Manager sends the professional their brand guidelines or other marketing materials

Milestone 1: Brainstorming
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional meet to discuss the objective of the animation and key audiences
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align on expectations for the animation

Milestone 2: Storyboarding (or Concepting)
  • Professional creates sketches or storyboards for the animations and shares with the Volunteer Manager for feedback (it's important that they walk the Volunteer Manager through the storyboards and describe what's happening rather than just email them over)
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback to inform the next round of work

Milestone 3: Illustration
  • Professional creates the illustration stills that will be animated and shares them with the Volunteer Manager for review
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback and approval

Milestone 4: Animation
  • Professional develops animation(s) and sends to Volunteer Manager for review
  • Volunteer Manager provides final round of Feedback

Milestone 5: Final Deliverable
  • Professional delivers the final versions of the animations in the formats required to deliver it across the identified channels

Girl Now, Woman Later, Inc. provides menstrual education and increases competency for middle and high school girls in Burkina Faso so they can graduate and become emancipated women.

What We Do

Girls Now Woman Later is making it possible for girls of Burkina Faso to NOT skip on life, but live to their fullest potential!
We provide menstrual educational workshops, feminine hygienic products, and tuition assistance to underprivileged middle and high school girls in West Africa, Burkina Faso.
