Mission

"World Vision is one of the world's largest humanitarian organizations, a nonprofit with 40,000 staff across 100 countries. Last year we mobilized $2.6 billion in relief and development assistance around the world. We provide around $500 million annually in resources to people impacted by emergencies. This includes pandemic response; most recently we played a key role in the fight against the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo that has finally ended. We are also the (UN) World Food Programme's leading partner for the distribution of emergency food."
