A Member-Led Community Empowering People with Mental Illness

What We Do

Fresh Start is a Fountain House model Clubhouse program serving adults with serious mental illness in Washtenaw County. For more than 20 years, we have served our community as a program of another agency. In 2023 Fresh Start will become the first freestanding (independently operated) Clubhouse program in Michigan, as we peel off from our parent agency and establish ourselves as an independent NPO.
