A Member-Led Community Empowering People with Mental Illness

What We Do

Fresh Start is a Fountain House model Clubhouse program serving adults with serious mental illness in Washtenaw County. For more than 20 years, we have served our community as a program of another agency. In 2023 Fresh Start became the first freestanding (independently operated) Clubhouse program in Michigan.
