Mission

The Friendship Factor is a non-profit that's building a community of friends for children all along the spectrum. We're on a mission to advance social mobility and equity for neurodiverse youth through shared experiences and peer support, essentially creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for kids to collaborate, work through conflict, practice self-regulation skills, be more open, empathetic and resilient as they learn to understand others that may engage and relate in different ways.

What We Do

We offer Social Inclusion Camps promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for neurodiverse/neurotypical children and their families. Consulting with behavioral and occupational therapists to develop a program curriculum offering opportunities for natural environment teaching, social emotional development, physical activity, sensory play, and creative projects to encourage teamwork, mindfulness, self-confidence, and belonging and ultimately help them develop life-long friendships.
