Mission

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County (SVdP) provides daily necessities, food & clothing for the homeless and precariously housed. We serve over 100,000 meals at 3 Homeless Help Centers and provide food, clothing and rent assistance to the precariously housed through our Peninsula Family Resource Center. SVdP’s Stores help clothe, feed and house your neighbors in need by providing over $300,000 in clothing and household goods vouchers. Ninety-one cents of every dollar raised by SVdP Stores and fundraising are expended in safety-net services to the poor in San Mateo County.
