Our mission is to make college possible for underserved youth by matching students with donors, resources, colleges, and professional networks. ScholarMatch is the physical and virtual center of community collaboration that fosters life-changing opportunities.

What We Do

ScholarMatch connects the community with underserved students to make college possible. We provide college scholarships to help students close the tuition gap that stands between them and their dreams of higher education and also provide a suite of free college advising services. We operate a drop-in center in San Francisco's Mission district and partner with local high schools to provide group workshops, 1-on-1 counseling and financial aid sessions, and career support for approximately 300 students each year. We have a vibrant community of supporters that supports our students, funds the scholarships and makes it possible for our small staff to do big things. In just three years we have provided nearly $400,000 in college scholarships and hundreds of hours of college support while engaging nearly 500 donors and volunteers.
