Mission

Refugees Helping Refugees (RHR) is a non-profit organization that serves refugees of Western New York. RHR seeks to foster the growth, self-determination, and self-reliance of Rochester's refugee community by making them agents of their own advancement.

What We Do

We serve close to 300 refugees annually across multiple programs and service areas: case management, English language instruction, work experience training, youth college prep, health education, and civic engagement. 95% of our clients live under the federal poverty line. We serve refugees from all backgrounds and nationalities, and currently our clients represent 18 countries and 23 languages.
