Mission

Philly Thrive runs campaigns to win environmental justice in the poorest big city in the U.S. Through our people power, we won the permanent closure of the East Coast's largest and oldest oil refinery in 2020. Our current campaign contests for justice in the Philadephia's largest redevelopment ever (1300 acres, 2% of the entire city). Together we will win resident-led decisionmaking, family-sustaining jobs, and deep reinvestment in frontline neighborhoods.
