To empower individuals, families, and communities to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency through an integrated program of social, educational, and advocacy services
What We Do
Established in 1902, Lutheran Settlement House serves over 7,000 of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable citizens including homeless mothers and children and domestic violence survivors. We also help unemployed community members prepare for the GED test and find jobs. Through our senior center, we run a food cupboard and intergenerational farm, which pairs seniors with teens to garden together and learn from each other.
