Mission

Lion's Pride Mentoring empowers student leaders in schools. We train eleventh and twelfth grade students to mentor ninth graders, giving them a role model to help navigate unfamiliar territory and reach their full potential. Ultimately, Lion's Pride Mentoring seeks to change the educational landscape in Chicago by connecting young people to mentors just like them, helping more ninth graders stay on track and graduate from high school and cultivate economic sustainability.
