Mission

Our mission at involvemint.io is to design and build local currency systems, primarily in impoverished communities, to empower residents to tackle chronic challenges.

We do this by facilitating an asset-based community development process that engages key stakeholders in identifying underutilized assets and ways to make them valuable. Our WebApp then mints "TimeCredits" that ChangeMakers, or active citizens addressing community challenges, can earn for every service hour. ChangeMakers and can then spend these TimeCredits for basic needs realized from underutilized community assets.
