Mission

Peralta Hacienda Historical Park promotes understanding and historical healing, giving voice to the many cultures that have created--and are still transforming--California. This six-acre park with nature area, historic house museum and community center stands in one of the most diverse communities in the United States, Oakland's Fruitvale. Here, youth and families produce festivals, events, exhibits, arts and educational programs, and incubate community action for equity and environment. The vision: Every Human Being Makes History.
