Mission

Doc Wayne's mission is to fuse sport and therapy to heal and strengthen at-risk youth.

What We Do

Doc Wayne provides sports-based group therapy to youth ages 5-18 years old in the Greater Boston and MetroWest areas of Massachusetts. We are a mobile service and primarily work within public schools. Doc Wayne currently serves over 300 youth per week at 21 different sites. The youth we work with struggle with social, emotional, behavior, and mental health challenges. Our program, Chalk Talk, is run by clinicians that are seen by the youth as coaches. Youth in our program participate in soccer, flag football, basketball, and rowing mental health curriculums.
