Mission

Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project provides debt counseling and Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filings for low income Philadelphia residents with the help of a dedicated group of staff, volunteer attorneys, and law students.

What We Do

We pair low income clients with pro bono attorneys or law students to assist with filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Included in the filing is debt and financial counseling. The ultimate goal is to stabilize the client's finances in a holistic and sustainable way.
