Mission

The mission of Communities In Schools of Wake County is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We exist to help schools remove barries that put students at risk of wasting their potential.

What We Do

Communities In Schools of Wake County provides K-12 students in the Wake County Public School System with tutors, mentors and access to community resources to help them achieve their academic and personal best. Partnerships throughout the community allow us to recruit caring adults as volunteer mentors and tutors, to offer invaluable enrichment opportunities, and to provide safe learning environments for our students where the pursuit of academic excellence is the standard.
