Mission

Magen David Adom (MDA) saves lives in Israel. American Friends of MDA raises critical funds and awareness for MDA here in the U.S.

What We Do

Since 1930, Magen David Adom has provided a rapid and skilled emergency medical response - including disaster, ambulance, and blood services - to Israel’s 8 million people. It is Israel's version of the Red Cross.

American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA) raises critical funds and awareness for MDA's work. MDA is not funded by the Israeli government, instead relying on the generosity of donors in America and around the world.

AFMDA is a nation-wide organization that connects you to Israel and MDA's lifesaving work. You can give charitably, volunteer, and create unique community fundraising opportunities.
