Project details

What we need
  • A document outlining the most appropriate social media channels, strategies for usage, goals and key metrics to evaluate success
  • Expert consultation on messaging, scheduling and frequency
  • Tailored suggestions for style, tone, and types of content to best showcase the Organization
Additional details

We would also love to have 1) a list of specific posts applicable to Courts for Kids that we can use to engage students, promoting trips and 2) the best ways to engage the groups of students who go on the trips, before and after the trip.

What we have in place
  • We have Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts and an archive of volunteer written stories and hundreds of great pictures from past trips taken by amazing trip participants. We have a Courts for Kids staff member dedicated to working with you to improve and plan the future of our social media presence and we are available to collaborate any time that works for you.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to better serve 25 communities around the world.

Courts for Kids is a young non-profit but we are growing fast with 21 multi-sport courts completed in 2015 alone. Our social media presence is critical to engaging our high school and college aged target audience, however we do not have a precise plan or best practices for engagement. With your help and expertise we will have a social media road map that will guide our organization to connect with and reach more students to join our life-changing service immersion trips and help meet the needs of our growing list of partner communities around the world.

Our mission

We help provide access to sports in communities around the world by building multipurpose athletic courts. Each project is a collaborative effort with a team of US volunteers, primarily students, who gain a deeply meaningful, service-based, immersion experience in the process of working side by side with the community to build the court.
