Membership Strategy
Help Neighborhood Parents Network develop a strategy to bring in new members, or improve their current membership program, to increase engagement and support their fundraising and community-building goals.
Membership Strategy
Project details
What we need
- A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies
What we have in place
- We have recent data that shows who a member is, why they join, why they don't renew as well as standard demographics. That data should make it easy for you to get started. Our Associate Executive Director is readily available and can tell you more about what we have tried in the past, what has worked and why it's important to be strategic in recruitment (market analysis).
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to grow our membership by 500 local Chicago parents needing resources.
The success of our organization is heavily dependent on membership recruiting and renewals. Without your help, we will struggle to implement the right change to make an impact. Your skills will empower us to implement a strategy that can continue to recruit new members and retain them for another 35 years. Digital noise and an expanding marketplace has made it more difficult to market and communicate in recent years.

Our mission
Neighborhood Parents Network connects a diverse community of families with the resources they need to navigate parenting in the city. Expectant, new, and seasoned parents come to NPN to find what they need to tackle the everyday challenges of being a parent.
Testimonials
Christi was extraordinarily knowledgeable and an exceptional volunteer. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She just "gets" it.
Christa, the project liaison was very enthusiastic about this project and was a great resource in providing data and information that aided the project along. NPN was already on track to implement solutions to improve their organization's impact, thus finding solutions that they were open to and willing to try was a fun task!
