Excel Training
Excel Training
Project details
What we need
- Customized Excel Training session(s) for up to 5 people over the course of 1-2 days
- Sessions may be broken up into Beginner, Intermediate, and/or Advanced
- Sample topics may include: formulas, commonly used functions, autofill, sorting and filtering, freezing, hiding, and grouping, formatting tips, keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, charting and graphing, print readiness, collaborative work issues, and overall best practices
Additional details
Those participating in the training (2 - 3 staff ) are the advanced beginners at excel, so patience and experience working with beginners is a HUGE plus. Also, it would be great if the professional could help to set up a share screen so that in-person training is not necessary.
What we have in place
- We currently have a basic understanding of excel, which should make it easier to get started. We are eager learners, too!
How this will help
This project will save us $4,174 , allowing us to provide training and outreach 12 faith community leaders on the importance of addressing domestic violence!
Learning excel will enable staff to be more efficient, thus saving time for our important programming and outreach!

To achieve this goal, Safe Havens works to strengthen the capacity of faith communities and service providers to engage in a coordinated effort to end domestic violence and elder abuse. Working as a bridge between service providers and faith communities, Safe Havens provides education, resources, and technical assistance to improve access to services, foster leadership development, encourage community collaboration, and promote responsible action.
