What we have in place
  • We have a 4-person probono executive team with talent and resources to help with this process (just limited time to execute). We have excellent field-based knowledge and have begun to explore Guidestar as a resource and tool for analysis. We can connect with nonprofits for a focus group as appropriate.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,948 , allowing us to strategically advise 25 mission-driven organizations.

We are at a critical turning point in our organization where we are confident about what we do, how we’d like to grow and who we might best serve in this initial stage of growth. Identifying, profiling and analyzing this target market (mid-sized nonprofits between $2.5-$10m) will help us take our next steps. We are eager to deliver our transformational events to build the profile and sustainability of those nonprofits who may never operate on a national level but who have a critical role to play regionally or locally, keeping our communities safe, healthy and growing.

Founded in 2000 by Noel "Paul" Stookey (of the 1960's folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary) and his daughter, Elizabeth Stookey Sunde, Music to Life builds on the strong historical legacy of social movements' intentional use of music to educate, recruit, and mobilize. We revitalize music to meet the challenges of the modern world and revolutionize the role activist artists can play in accelerating social change.
