What we do
Leave It Better Foundation is an organization focused on teaching youth about environmental healing. Our flagship program, Leave It Better's ReGeneration Project provides students with cameras and gardens, teaching them the importance of healthy food, and empowering them with the tools to share the story of their learning. Each participating school receives a garden. Over the course of the school year, students film each other as they learn how to compost and grow vegetables in their garden. At the end of the year, students harvest the vegetables and use them to make a salad, which everyone eats! A film is edited together of the school's experience, using the footage filmed by students, and screened for all those involved in the program. Learn more at leaveitbetter.org
