Project details

What we need
  • Assistance with setting up a Google Analytics account and tracking codes for the Organization’s various web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
Additional details

It would be wonderful to be able to integrate tracking for our social media activity into the plan.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Google Analytics set-up and ready to go. We also have a Facebook page with 967 “likes” ; a Twitter account with 2013 followers and a clear idea of who our target audience is which should make it easy for you to get started. We can also provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to promote preservation to 4200 community members and potential supporters to help save Hawaii's historic places.

Our ability to effectively connect with those who advocate for and support preservation is crucial to saving Hawai‘i’s historic places. Our goal is to reach our target audience with news of our unique services across different platforms (website, social media, blog, etc.). Then set-up a system and learn how to track, measure and analyze our efforts on an ongoing basis.

Our mission

Historic Hawaii Foundation preserves and encourages the preservation of historic buildings, objects, communities and sites relating to the history of Hawai‘i; promotes awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, keepd alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.

What we do

We help preserve the places that tell the story of Hawaii's rich, multilayer history. We share preservation education via workshops, trainings, lectures and community events; assist with grants for hands-on preservation; advocate for preservation policy; provide individual and organizational assistance via our Preservation Resource Center; create celebrations pairing people with places and hold annual preservation honor awards recognizing achievements in historic preservation in the Hawaiian Islands.
