Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of the organization’s current donor base
  • Assessment of an organization’s target demographics, existing marketing materials and fundraising objectives
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to recruit donors, including identification of new resources and most appropriate marketing methods
What we have in place
  • We are currently completing a two-year Mothers School pilot project under the auspices of the United States Peace Institute, and now we have monitoring and evaluation data from five countries and 800 'graduating' mothers to show effective outcomes. Our work is well presented in international media and we have a growing network of affected mothers, social workers, schools, government ministers and academics that endorse and support our methods. We feel well positioned to scale. Your expert input and advice will help secure the needed financial resources to implement Mothers Schools in the West.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,000 , allowing us to train-up and support 10 Mothers Schools in Europe.

Women without Borders have a tried and tested Mothers School module for empowering mothers with the confidence and competence to recognize and react to early warning signs of radicalization in their adolescents and young adults by violent extremist groups. We now need to to identify donors in the US and Europe so we can bring this researched-based approach to security to the West and help combat terrorism on the home-front.

Our mission

“Including women in the security arena is a great challenge, but this is our moment as women to exercise our smart power and meet global challenges with competence and confidence.” – Edit Schlaffer, Founder

What we do

Women without Borders promotes the role of women in the security sphere and sensitizes mothers in particular to their role and responsibility to challenge violent extremist ideologies.

SAVE – Sisters Against Violent Extremism is our leading global campaign.. SAVE is a unique transatlantic initiative uniting women (and men) from around the world in the first research-based female counter-terrorism platform.

SAVE is mobilizing and promoting women’s roles in alternative diplomacy, dialogue and leadership for security.
