Project details

What we need
  • Creation of a strategic plan for an online crowdfunding campaign
  • Step-by-step guidance throughout the implementation of the campaign
  • Evaluation at the end of the campaign to gauge effectiveness and guide strategy for future campaigns
What we have in place
  • We currently have many social media platforms that we use actively, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have social media staff andprevious award-winning social media campaigns, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,500 , allowing us to provide educational programs of peace and reconciliation for at least 500 Israeli and Palestinian youth.

We continue to look for creative ways to engage people around the importance of the human side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and tell our members stories through art, media, film, social media, books and more. Wehave a devoted and engaged social media constituency on diverse platforms. We need support to help galvanize that constituency into a successful crowdfunding campaign that will take our Women's Group to the next level. We want to mobilize a women's movement to make reconciliation a reality on the ground among Israelis and Palestinians.

Our mission

The Parents Circle Families Forum is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization made up of more than 600 bereaved families. Their common bond is that they have lost a close family member to the conflict. But instead of choosing revenge, they have chosen a path of reconciliation.

Through the different works of the PCFF, these bereaved members have joined together to take tens of thousands of Palestinians and Israelis on their personal journeys of reconciliation. It is often raw and always emotional. But out of these interactions, comes change. Not the kind of change that makes headlines, but a more personal and profound shift in perspective.

These bereaved members, armed with the credibility of their loss and the uncommon path they have chosen, have opened a crack in the psyche of a hardened populous. They have begun to stir an awareness about the conflict that transcends history and politics. For many, it is the first time they have seen “the other side” as human.
The PCFF hopes for the day that political leaders reach agreement for peace. But they strongly believe that reconciliation between the Israeli and Palestinian people is essential to ensuring that peace is sustainable.
