What we need
  • Up to 5 new reports in an Organization’s instance of Salesforce
  • Training on how to interpret and make basic updates to reports
Additional details

I need help running our list of donors. When I do it, I don't get everyone.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Salesforce account., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have been inputing donors, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to focus on grantwriting- the other part of my job.

We are getting ready for a capital campaign and I need to understand how to pull lists of donors.

Prep: Alignment on Salesforce Setup & Reporting Goals
  • Volunteer Manager introduces the Professional to the Organization’s Salesforce setup and provides them with a detailed description of reporting needs and use cases
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align on feasibility of what kinds of reports can be set up in Salesforce to meet these needs
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with admin-level access to the Organization’s Salesforce instance

Milestone 1: Draft Report Creation
  • Professional prepares initial drafts of reports in the Organization’s Salesforce instance
  • Professional presents reports to the Volunteer Manager and receives & implements any feedback (up to two rounds)

Milestone 2: Report Finalization & Training
  • Professional presents final versions of reports and trains Volunteer Manager and any other relevant staff on how to read and interpret them
  • Professional provides training on how to make simple changes to reports (e.g. inserting date filters)
  • Professional provides training on the overall functionality of Salesforce reports
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to answer any questions about reports

HOPE is a homeless shelter that provides safe and judgment-free shelter, innovative programs, and public advocacy to end homelessness.

What we do

In-house case management that includes acquiring vital documentation, connection with health and behavioral health services, developing a network for basic needs, and connection to housing services.
Our housing rate is 30% higher than our peers with a 90%+ success rate (recidivism of 10% or less compared to peers with 35% recidivism).
HOPE is the only low-barrier shelter in Oakland County.
