Project details
What we need
- Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
The East Falls community in Northwest Philadelphia, directly adjacent to the Schuylkill River, is uniquely vulnerable to flooding. As such, our organization is producing a flood mitigation toolkit - and we seek generous design services for this important resource for our residents + small business owners!
What we have in place
- We currently have written content / curated flood mitigation resources, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated staff member + active volunteers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to help our residents and business owners prepare for future flooding, saving livelihoods and adding to the economic resilience of our neighborhood.
Last year, Hurricane Ida devastated our community, with small businesses that took almost a year to reopen and residents with damaged homes - and the East Falls Development Corporation knows extreme weather events will only occur more frequently. Therefore, we are collating flood mitigation resources and tips to help our residents and business owners prepare for future flooding.
