Flexible Web Development Support
Flexible Web Development Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Assistance needed with providing maintenance and improvement for a Word Press blog ran by a non-profit. The website is called learnphillyheritage.org . The consultant will be working with a hands on staff member who's role is focused on specifically improving the website and giving it more visibility to the Philadelphia region. The website needs assistance with linking to the non-profits social media, added imagery and videos, posting updated articles & resources, and rearranging current posts.
What we have in place
- We currently have A trained staff member and working website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Members of management that can facilitate communication, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to Keep this website up and running in a way that gives our projects more visibility. This project would not be feasible without this help because GPA is a small nonprofit with a low operating budget.
This project is extremely important because the website provides countless resources for students in Philadelphia, particularly those from diverse and minority backgrounds that do not traditionally have access to these resources in their current school setting. Our nonprofit seeks to utilize the resources of local universities, businesses, and other nonprofits by creating a space where they can be organized and accessible. We provide heritage tool kits, films, maps, and lesson plans for students
