What We Need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives

I am looking for someone to help me craft a long-form document that outlines a manifesto of excellent service for my organization.

I have written the first version of the document, but I am not sure if it holds together and is as impactful as it should be.

The document is semi-complete at 1700 words, but it needs a professional touch. It is not a traditional case study, rather it is a call to my organization to commit to excellent service. It is created as a feature and benefits structure.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have first version of a "Commitment to excellence" internal doc, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the beginning of a powerpoint preso to support the document, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to serve more customers. Currently there are approx. 600,000 older adults in our region and last year we served over 100,000. It looks like this year the number will increase significantly.

Due to covid-19 our organization is being asked to serve an unprecedented number of clients with no additional resources.

Our mission is to serve low-income older adults in Santa Clara California.

Currently, we offer 8 disparate services, and we want to make sure we take on all the new customers with no disruption to customer service levels.

I think if we can create the right document, we can use it to inspire our team to provide superior service as the demand level increases.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides examples of existing communications and marketing materials such as links to website and social media, brochures, and other collateral
  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and marketing strategy (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager communicates initial concept for deliverables to be created
Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing
Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first drafts of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback with respect to style, tone, clarity, and length
Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review

Our mission is to provide seniors and their caregivers the tools and services they need to effectively navigate their health and life options. Through a comprehensive network of resources, Sourcewise strives to educate, prepare, support, and advocate for all adults, their families, and their caregivers within Santa Clara County.

What We Do

We work to coordinate services and support systems for the aging population across a network of state and local organizations in Santa Clara County and help empower seniors and caregivers by providing access to information and resources, and supportive services allowing for personal choices, and continued independence, so they may remain safely in their homes.
