We recently had a change in leadership and need to update our mission, vision, and values to align not only with our new direction but also our organizational culture.
What We Have In Place
- We currently have a committee prepared to work on this project, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a creative outlook and willingness to change, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to serve more children in foster care in our community
We are embarking on a strategic planning process and getting our mission, vision, and values settled will be an important first step. This also a process that we have not seriously engaged in (to my knowledge) in the 25+ year history of the organization and so it is important to get it done now. We are also eager to align our mission, vision, and values with our organizational culture that prioritizes equity and antiracism.

Piedmont CASA
Our Mission
Piedmont CASA recruits, screens, trains and supports community Volunteers who advocate in Court for abused and neglected children. CASA Volunteers conduct independent investigations and make recommendations to the judges regarding the children's best interests, always promoting safe, permanent, and nurturing homes.
