What we need
  • Update to or creation of one new HR policy or procedure, such as any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety & Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation & Benefits policies, Work From Home Policies, etc.
Additional details

We are looking for a policy a comprehensive policy or set of
several policies that demonstrate a supportive work environment,
which must address, at minimum, one provision of each of the
following:
a. Work-life balance.
b. employee recognition
c. employee wellness
d. inclusive culture

More details will be available about each of the topics above. We are looking to create this policy, or have a great start for this policy, for our health department to meet accreditation standards.

What we have in place
  • We currently have list of requirements, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have supportive leadership, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,480 , allowing us to continue public health pandemic response.

This project is important for our health department because we value respect in the workplace and strive to foster a positive work environment. This project will also help our department meet nation-wide standards in public health.

  • Volunteer Manager explains what they're looking for in this policy
  • Professional determines if changes need to be made to existing policy(s)
  • Professional determines if the Volunteer Manager needs to collect additional information from employees (i.e., survey results)

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional review a draft of the policy, and determine next steps (i.e., buy-in/approval from additional parties)
