Email Marketing System Set Up

What we need
  • Set up of Organization's account in email marketing software (possible tools include Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor)
  • Imported contact list into software with guidance on list cleaning & management
Additional details

We have been using MailChimp for many years but now we need help integrating our Blackbaud E-Tapestry donor contacts. We know that by engaging our donors with consistent updates, we will see an increase in engagement. We also would like to create a process for email newsletter that will streamline updates from all of our programming departments.

What we have in place
  • We currently have mailchimp and e-tapestry, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a brand book, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,640 , allowing us to pay more artists to provide arts and culture experiences in the community that are free and publicly accessible.

It is extremely important that every member of our team feel like they can easily communicate with our stakeholders and right now this is not the case. By just figuring out the back end of our email lists and get them integrated, we can begin communicating right away.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, budget, and needs for email marketing
  • Professional recommends software based on Organization's needs and budget
  • Volunteer Manager shares CSV of contacts with email addresses, first names, last names, and any other relevant information

Milestone 1: Set Up
  • Professional sets Organization's account up in selected software
  • Professional instructs Volunteer Manager on how to verify Organization's domain so that Volunteer Manager can send communications on behalf of the Organization
  • Professional imports contacts into account

  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager and other relevant staff on how to use the new software set up
