What we need
- Setup of selected accounting software (e.g. Aplos, Araize)
- Training and guidelines on how to manage system and generate basic reports
Additional details
We have a Quickbooks pro account and our books are reconciled, but it's not set up in the ideal way for a non-profit! I also have little accounting experience, and I'd need someone with some expertise to help walk me through the process of transforming a generic Quickbooks setup into something that is more appropriate for the needs of our young non-profit -- particularly with an eye toward impactful reporting for prospective donors and grant reporting.
What we have in place
- We currently have a Quickbooks pro subscription, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a record of all financial transactions, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,409 , allowing us to rescue over 110,000 lbs of fresh produce from the biggest produce market on the planet and redistribute it to grassroots sites serving neighbors that big food rescue trucks don't reach!
With more clarity in our bookkeeping, we will be able to present a much more compelling case to donors!
