What we need
- A written document that identifies the Organization's timeline, onboarding goals, recommended responsibilities and support for new hire success:
- An onboarding checklist and timeline template that can be completed by the Organization for each new hire
- A suggested checklist and template outlining onboarding methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (human resources and information technology materials, department presentations, mentor assignment, skill sharing, etc.)
- Recommendations on how to delegate onboarding responsibilities within the Organization or department, if applicable
- A short plan for communicating with the new hire prior to their first day of work
Additional details
I would love to add what we need do during the first week, first 30 days, 60 days and 90 days plan for new hires.
What we have in place
- We currently do not have an onboarding plan. We do have a digital platform for our onboarding paperwork. I can provide any information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,686 , allowing us to put money back into our programs for senior citizens that are in need.
Onboarding is important to us especially in the pandemic, as we would like assimilate new hires as soon as possible. We feel that structured and standardized onboarding processes experience can lead to high productivity and employee retention.

Through a comprehensive network of resources, Sourcewise strives to educate, prepare, support, and advocate for all adults, their families, and their caregivers within Santa Clara County.
What we do
We work to coordinate services and support systems for the aging population across a network of state and local organizations in Santa Clara County and help empower seniors and caregivers by providing access to information and resources, and supportive services allowing for personal choices, and continued independence, so they may remain safely in their homes.
