Flexible Tech Support
Flexible Tech Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing technological advisory for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: tools set up and implementation, systems auditing, process updates
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Wisconsin Literacy, Inc. is looking for support with our Sales Force (free version) that we use for contact management, donors, fee for service clients, and grant funding. We would like a Sales Force experienced user help us better understand the ways in which we can input contacts and grant funding amounts and fee for service clients so that we can better implement and use SF reports. This volunteer would work with our Development Director and 2 other key staff to help train them on best use.
What we have in place
- We currently have a dev. dir. who is somewhat versed in SF & can share issuesu, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have virtual access to meetings via Zoom, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,170 , allowing us to better support our 70 local literacy agency members with more digital literacy resources for their programs.
We want to make reconciling our revenue streams, which are fairly diverse given our different programs, much easier and consistent. Sometime information gets imputed into SF in ways that don't allow it to show up correctly on reports. Given the holidays and that we would like 4 weeks of consistent and frequent "tutoring" on this project, we feel it best to start in January.

Testimonials
Jon was great to work with! He was responsive, knowledgeable, and patient and helped our team understand how we can best use Salesforce. He took the time to understand and address our specific needs and we feel lucky to have found him.
It was great to work with the WHLI and WLI teams. They have many initiatives that are supported through their current Salesforce implementation. I had a lot of fun working with the team to understand their challenges and explain how different capabilities in Salesforce could help them. We also got into the details with a few team members to help with specific challenges like data imports.
